Spirituality at Al-Farooq
At the Islamic Center of Williamson County (Al-Farooq), spirituality is at the heart of everything we do. Our programs and activities are designed to nurture the soul, strengthen the bond with Allah ﷻ, and help individuals live a life guided by faith, sincerity, and purpose.
Daily Prayers

Five Daily Prayers are held in congregation, providing the community with a consistent space to connect with Allah ﷻ.

Jumu‘ah Khutbah and Prayer every Friday led by our Imam, offering spiritual guidance and reminders rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Qur’an and Remembrance

Qur’an Circles & Tajwīd Classes for adults and youth to deepen their understanding and perfect their recitation.

Daily after Ishaa and Fair Khatira focusing on tafsīr, hadith, and spiritual reflections to enrich faith.

Weekly Ḥalaqahs (Study Circles) focusing on tafsīr, hadith, and spiritual reflections to enrich faith.

Regular Dhikr and Du‘ā’ gatherings, reviving the prophetic practice of remembering Allah in community.
Special Programs

Ramadan Programs: Nightly Taraweeh prayers, community iftars, and spiritual talks to strengthen devotion during the blessed month.

Annual Retreats & Spiritual Nights (Qiyām al-Layl): Opportunities for worship, reflection, and recharging the heart away from daily distractions.

Youth Spiritual Development: Special sessions addressing challenges faced by the younger generation, instilling love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Personal Growth

Encouragement of daily adhkār (remembrances) and personal Qur’an study.
